Google has launched the Android 5.0 Lollipop preview for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) devices whereas, other devices are still waiting for its launch. Although, Lollipop roll out will take some time to become available on all devices but, if you are looking for a way to give a Lollipop flavor to your Android device then, you are at right place.
The people using the Google 5.0 Lollipop have extracted the Google Now Launcher from Nexus device and it can be installed on any Android device whether it’s Android 4.0 Ice CreamSandwich, Android 4.1/4.2/4.3 Jelly Bean or Android 4.4 kitkat.

Note: It is to be noted that this Launcher can only be installed on a device running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and above.

If you are are getting ‘Stopped working’ error on the Google Search then, open up settings of Google Now Launcher by pressing the menu icon. Select ‘Settings’ > ‘Voice’ > ‘Ok Google Detection’. Turn it ‘Off’ and you won’t get any forced close issue on Google Search.
