We are slowly getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop flavors on all the apps for Android where the official Gmail app and the Calendar apps have been updated with Material Design along with the Play Store to look similar to latest version of Android. Google has updated its Maps app to look similar to Android 5.0 Lollipop and Material Design has been ported to mapping app. The app has not only got the new interface but, some new features are also part of it.


The best feature of the app is the Uber integration where you will be able to see how much time will it take for the Uber driver to get to your location. The app will also show you estimated fares for the Uber cabs.

Another feature of Maps 9.0 with Material Design is the ability to reserve restaurant tables right from within the app.
