Android 4.2 Devices:

If, you are using an Android 4.2 device then, you will first have to get the ‘Developer Options‘ menu back which is hidden by default. You can get the ‘Developer Options‘ back by following the instructions found here.

  • Once you have enabled the ‘Developer Options’ on your Android 4.2 device, go to the ‘Settings’ > ‘Developer Options’ and check the ‘USB debugging’ option.
  • Your USB debugging has been enabled.

Android 4.0 Devices:

If, you are using an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) powered device then, enabling the USB debugging mode on it is very easy.
