Wi-Fi connectivity for the Android device depends upon the specific need or requirements of the Android user. Some people do not like to remain connected, for long duration or always while others may prefer to remain connected for longer spans of time. When Wi-Fi is being used to download apps or important notifications from some apps, such as, Facebook or Twitter, people may wish Wi-Fi to remain connected even during the sleep time at night.
The decision to keep the Wi-Fi ON or OFF also depends upon the usage of the Wi-Fi. If the user wants to keep the Wi-Fi usage bill at the minimum, she/he may opt to switch OFF the Wi-Fi during the night or vice versa.
