Android 4.4.x Kitkat includes an awesome feature which lets you dial and call a contact saved in your contacts book easily by using the dial pad. This feature is very useful for people who want to quickly call the people in their contacts and don’t want to waste time searching for individual people.
Android 4.4.3 lets you simply dial the name of the person you want to call using your Android phone and the dialer does the rest and shows the most relevant and accurate suggestions which you want to call.
Follow the instructions below to quickly dial a person’s contact phone using the Dialer in Android 4.4.3.
Instructions:

Whenever you want to call a person in your contacts, simply launch the ‘Phone’ app and open Dialer.

Once the dialer is open, start typing the name of the person you want to call e.g. I dialed ‘Ahmad Wahid’ by pressing the relevant keys.
Note:It is necessary that you have saved the contact in your phonebook in-order to dial it quickly from dialer.

Once you have dialed the relevant contact’s name, you phone will show the most relevant contact in suggestions above.

You can scroll down to view all the suggestions and tap any contact to call it.

That’s all! You don’t have to go through whole contact book again to call any specific person.
