There is no doubt that borders around the images and photos are a must for the beauty of the images. But, this is also true that some people like the border while others do not. Further, suitable thickness of the border is required for specific purposes. Especially, when images are uploaded on the social networks, borders are liked.
Keeping the choice of the Android users in view, a feature has been added in the KitKat 4.4.4 which, when applied, can add not only borders but also can set thick or thin border. If you need a little help, do not hesitate to see the instructions.
Instructions
1: Tap the icon of the ‘Gallery’ app on the Home screen of your Android 4.4.4 KitKat device to open up the ‘Gallery’ screen. 
2: At the ‘Gallery’ screen, tap the album of your choice to open the images in it. 
3: At the specific album, tap the image on which you want to add border. 
4: At the image screen, tap anywhere on the image and a filters button will become visible on it. Tap the filter button and a set of buttons will become visible. 
5: Tap the button of borders, placed at the second from left at the bottom of the screen. It will open up a film view of different types of borders. Swipe the film to right or left to view the borders to explore them.
6: Swipe to right to the border style, marked ‘Borders’. Tap the border style and a new prompt upward popup menu, named; ‘THICKNESS’ will appear. Further, see a slider control appears to manage the thickness of the border of the image. 
7: Tap the slider and drag it to the right or left to adjust the thickness of the border. 
8: Drag the slider to left and see the border will become thicker. You may set slider, anywhere on the slider to set the thickness of border of image. Setting of the thickness of the border is entirely aesthetic.
9: I dragged the slider to the extreme left where the thickness of the image becomes minimum. When the thickness of the border is finalized, tap the ‘SAVE’, placed at the top left corner of the screen, immediately below the status bar to save the changes. 
Now, you can set the thickness of the border of the image, as per your desire, to make the image look more beautiful.
