Normally, many settings and values are set by default in the Android Marshmallow operating system and even in the smartphone and tablets. But, many of these values may be changed – depending upon the choice or requirements of the user.
Among the many such values, the brightness of the Ambient Display is set by default but may be changed at any time by the user.
Ambient is the value which is set by default but its values can be set, automatically, by the smart device, according to the surroundings.
To change the brightness in the Ambient display, only few steps are required by you to change. But, if you need any guidance, see the instructions.
Instructions
1: Tap the icon of the ‘Settings’ app, placed at the bottom-right corner of the Home screen of your Android Marshmallow smartphones or tablets to open up the ‘Settings’ screen.2: At the ‘Settings’ screen, scroll down to the ‘Device’ section and tap the ‘Display’.3: At the ‘Display’ screen, tap the ‘Ambient display’.4: At the ‘Ambient display’ screen, first confirm; the ‘Overwrite value’ is checked, i.e. activated, as without its activation, the Brightness level cannot be adjusted.
5: Tap the ‘Brightness level’. It will open up a prompt, names; ‘Brightness level’ with a slider to adjust the brightness level.
6: At the prompt, Brightness level’ see; the current default level of ambient brightness is 25. If you want to change the brightness level, just touch the header of the slider with finger to move it right or left.7: You may set the slider, by tapping the header of the slider and moving it to the maximum left. See; its maximum level is 255. If you want to save it, tap ‘OK’, given at the bottom of the prompt.
Alternatively, you may tap the brightness value and may set the value with the help of the numerical keyboard, given below the prompt. 8: But, I adjusted the header of the slider, somewhere between maximum or default brightness value and tapped ‘OK’ to save this brightness level value. It will save the value for further usage in future. Alternatively, you may write some value by tapping the value, written in numeric.That’s all!
