As announced by the Redmond – based electronic giant, Microsoft – in January 2016, more than 200 million personal computers, tablets and mobile phones have downloaded, installed and are using Windows 10 the newer flagship OS of Microsoft for the PCs. The Microsoft claims it to be the fastest ever growing version of Windows OS in its history.This growth rate for the Windows 10 is 140% faster than that of Windows 7 (during the 2009 – 2011 period) and still 400% higher than Windows 8 ( during 2012 – 14 period). This faster trend is a proof of the success of the Windows 10.
As per history of Microsoft OS for PCs, this trend has been the shortest one since 1975.
