Power menu, opened by long pressing action of Power button in Android 4.4.4 KitKat phone, is set by default to power on / wake up the / power off the Android phone. But it can be set to perform some other actions as well in addition to its default actions. For example, you may set it to perform:

  • To Reboot phone.
  • To take screen shot.
  • To open the Airplane mode.
  • To set Sound panel.

To select for the desired settings, follow the instructions:

Command Line: Settings > Buttons – DEVICE > Power menu.

1: Tap the ‘Settings’ at the Home screen to open up the Settings screen of your Android 4.4.4 KitKat phone.

2: At the Settings screen, tap the ‘Buttons’ under the DEVICE.

3: At the Buttons screen, tap the ‘Power menu’. It will open up a prompt screen where you may select the desired action, you want to add in your Power menu of Android phone.

4: Tap the desired action to check and enable.

5: Now, to check the long press action of the power button, try it. It will open up the prompt popup where you may tap to attempt the desired action(s).
