Depending upon the specific need of the phone user or appropriate environment, you may feel need to choose the vibrator mode instead of ringing in Android KitKat 4.4. Especially, when you are using your phone in the noisy environment where it is difficult to listen to the ringing or at a place where it become inappropriate to using noisy ringtones, such as offices, hospitals or something like.

To run the Vibrator mode, follow the instructions:

Command Line: Settings > DEVICE-Sound > Ring Mode

 1: Tap Settings to open it.KitKat-Vibrator-1

2: Tap the Sound in the DEVICE.KitKat-Vibrator-3

3: In the VOLUME, tap the ‘Ring mode’. It would open up a popup menu, depicting the three options; Normal, Vibrate and Mute.KitKat-Vibrator-4

4: From the popup menu, choose the ‘Vibrate’ and tap to select it. The phone would be shifted to ‘Vibrator mode’.
