Sometimes during the photographic sessions, you feel the need to change over to the other mode, i.e. from current mode to the video, still or panoramic mode. It has been made very simple in Android KitKat 4.4. This process is not very different from Jelly Bean, the previous version of Android. It is pretty simple process to select and switch over to the preferred mode with mere swipe of your finger. For the purpose, just follow the instructions:
1: Tap to open up the Camera app.
2: In the Camera app, tap the mode launcher. This is at the left of the trigger. A popup up will open up, displaying a panel of 3 option buttons, representing Still Mode, Video Mode and Panoramic Mode. 
3: Select any one from the 3 available modes, by swiping your finger to the desired one, and see the current mode is switched over to the desired mode. Now, enjoy the switched mode.
