When the Android Marshmallow operating system refuses to download or install a new app, to save some docs, photos or videos, this is the indication that your internal storage for the further functioning of the OS has finished. On the other hand, sometimes, the operating system, bluntly, gives message that there is no further space available for the installation or download of the apps or for any other functions. This is time to clear the storage of your smartphone from some of the apps which are not necessary or less important for your smartphone.

After the decision to clear the storage of your internal memory, the next step is to decide about the apps which are to be deleted. This decision, partly, depends upon the usage and occupation of the storage of the apps in the internal memory of the smartphone. Now, you have to decide about the utility of the concerned app as compare to the storage used by the specific app.

1: Tap the icon of the ‘Settings’ app, placed currently by me in the bottom-right corner of the Home screen of the Android Marshmallow smartphone to open up the interface screen of ‘Settings’.2: At the ‘Settings’ screen, scroll down to the ‘Device’ section and tap the ‘Apps’.3: At the ‘Apps’ screen, select and tap the app about which you want to check the storage of the internal memory of smartphone. Tap that app to open up app info screen of the app.

4: At the ‘App info’ screen of the app, see; the storage, being used by this specific app in the internal memory of the smartphone. Such inspection of many apps may help you to decide to uninstall any app or its temporary disability.That’s all!
