What is Role & Function of Formula Bar in Microsoft Office Excel 2016?


While using the Microsoft Office Excel, formula bar is used by the users to see the information, data or the empirical formulas, entered in the cell. Formula bar is available immediately below the ribbon. You may also see the formula bar in all the following forms of collapse of ribbon:

  1. Auto hide Ribbon
  2. Show Tabs
  3. Show Tabs and Commands

Whatever you enter the data or info in the cell or workbook, you may see in the formula bar. If you want to edit the data or formulas, you may also do the same, even in the formula bar.
