Time matters while unlocking the Android 4.4.4 KitKat device. Sometimes, you are required to unlock the Android device, quickly. If only one default button, i.e. power button, is being used to unlock the device, the unlocking may be delayed whereas in some older devices, power button may not be working effectively. In this situation, you may need additional mechanism to unlock the Android device.

Command Line: Settings Icon – Home Screen > Lock Screen – PERSONALIZATION > Button Actions – GENERAL > Menu Unlock / Lock.
1: Tap the icon of ‘Settings’ app on the bottom right corner of the Home screen of Android 4.4.4 KitKat device to open up the ‘Settings’ screen.2: At the ‘Settings’ screen, scroll down to the PERSONALIZATION and tap ‘Lock Screen’.3: At the ‘Lock Screen’ screen, tap the ‘Buttons Actions’ in the GENERAL section. 4: On the ‘Buttons Actions’ settings screen, see the ‘Menu Unlock’ is not checked, i.e. it is not enabled and activated. It means; this feature cannot be used to unlock the device. 5: Tap the ‘Menu Unlock’ to check and activate ‘Menu Unlock’ option.From now onward, whenever you need to unlock the Android Lock Screen, you may use the ‘Menu’ button as well to unlock the device.
