Android 4.4 Kitkat has got an awesome feature which lets you suppress the unwanted noises during a call which can be help to make your calls more clear and help you understand the other person’s voice clearly.

Noise suppression is the technology which is being implemented on almost all new smartphones nowadays and it really can be help while you try to call someone in a noise environment.

I personally find the noise suppression feature on my Android phones very useful while travelling or even when there is fast wind blowing while I am talking on the phone.

So, if you want to enable voice suppression on your Android device then, you may follow the simple instructions below to enable it.

Instructions:

  • First of all, open up dialer no your Kitkat device and launch ‘Settings’ by pressing settings from options menu accessible from menu button or ‘three dots’ on bottom right corner.

  • Once the settings are open, here look for ‘Noise Suppression’ option. Enable it by checking it.

Note: If you don’t see the noise suppression option in the dialer settings then, it may be possible that your device doesn’t support Noise Suppression or your phone’s firmware may not support it.
