One of the many distinguishing features of Android 5.0 Lollipop is the battery saver. This built-in battery saver of the Android 5.0 Lollipop is designed to start functioning when the battery level of your Android device reaches a certain level. Then, battery saver, automatically, slows down many functions of the device, such as:

  • Performance
  • Limiting vibration
  • Unnecessary background data manipulation
  • Email and / or message processing
  • Or any other apps which rely on syncing

This is a very interesting feature and the lollipop users are advised to activate and set this feature, immediately, after acquiring the Android 5.0 Lollipop device. An interesting part of this battery saver feature is that you may check the status; whether the battery saver is On, right on the Home screen or even at the lock screen of your Android 5.0 Lollipop device.
